There are several reasons I do these monthly reports, but the main reason is so that I’m publicly accountable for everything I do. The way I see it is if I put my report out there to the world wide web then I really have no place to hide. This, to me, is one of the biggest motivators that will enable me to be highly determined to become a hugely successful entrepreneur. I literally have no place to hide!
Another reason I want to do these reports is because I’d like to think that one day I can sit back and read through the journey I took, and the ups and downs it took me to make it.
Lastly, I want to inspire! A huge catalyst for creating this blog was to inspire others into the entrepreneurial route of life. I was just a normal guy from a normal family who worked every hour under the sun as a chef in an Italian restaurant up until a few years ago, but hey, enough about me. Let’s get into the good stuff!
What I Have Done in February
February went so quick!
I spent a lot of February on the move and keeping busy, from taking work related trips to seeing old friends I hadn’t seen for some time due to work commitments. It really took its toll on me!
It was a very productive month but one that was spent planning this year’s moves in detail. I now just need to put everything into action. I visited London several times this previous month for business, and after being nominated by my friend Matt Lovett from Wowtrk, I also managed to participate in my first ever podcast interview for the new and exciting podcast: Rebelhead Entrepreneurs.
I struggled slightly this month with self-motivation and seemed to find myself sat in front of my computer screen overthinking things too much. This is an old trait I have that I seemed to have shifted; however, it came back to haunt me this past month so I’m trying to give it a kick in the ass again.
I think I burnt myself out in February with multiple business ventures and lots going on in my personal life, so this next month’s focus is to get back on track with taking massive action and not worrying about overthinking everything, starting with this report today!
Pre-launch sign-ups success!
So, our pre-launch sign-up competition whereby we gave away a Fiat 500 is now officially closed. It was, as we all predicted, a huge success as we managed to amass thousands upon thousands of members signed up to the platform before it has even launched.
The plan was to get over 10,000 people signed up to the platform prior to launching, and although I can’t divulge the current number, let’s just say we smashed our predictions and then some!
The focus then shifted to making sure the site was in the right place to maintain the users we’ve just signed up. There’s obviously no point holding a pre-launch sign-up competition and then making the members wait for months before the platform launches without any engagement.
We made sure our news section was updated with several breaking and quality content pieces per day and are now rolling out new features as and when they are ready each week.
Another exciting addition to the site is that we have now opened up your personal “feed”. This means users can post updates, images, videos, and discussions related to cars and have other users/manufactures respond on your own personal wall/feed.
We’re now working on our new homepage along with introducing exciting new features to our audience. You can still sign up today to participate and check out the platform, and I’d love to hear what you think of it!
We also managed to get to London and fly over our tech team from Latvia for a catch-up. We discussed the next steps in our development plan and what we’d be working towards over the next few months. After we left them to go to our hotel, we got a call from a close friend of Lovecars who was staying at the Wellesley hotel. It was great to catch up with the guys and also to get a closer look at their beautiful cars.
As you would have read last month, we had to replace our forum manager Roger. We did so with the very popular FixForums member TJ and he’s had a productive first month in charge. I’ve personally taken a more hands-off approach on the forums, as I work on new relationships and improving the users’ experience.
TJ and I have been communicating frequently discussing plans to expand and improve the forums, and although he’s spent most of his first month planning, I think this coming month is really when we see what he can do.
Speaking of planning, we’re planning some very exciting additions and changes to all 3 forums – but largely affecting AffiliateFix – this coming month.
You can also expect some “Ask the Expert” announcements this month.
We very excitingly partnered up on EntrepreneurFix with the Secret Entourage team. Similar to AffiliateFix, I wanted to work on some exclusive discounts that would benefit our members, and this is certainly a great start. As you can see by visiting this page, EntrepreneurFix members can take advantage of a HUGE 70% discount coupon for the Secret Academy and also get some free books thrown in!
This is the beginning of our relationship with SE and I see us doing more and more things together in the not so distant future.
I also found time this past month to record some new videos. I’m constantly being asked to film some new content and reviews of popular affiliate products and must-use tools so I managed to find some time to knock out the following videos:
- 2016 Mobile Immersion Review and Walkthrough + Bonus!
- How to Download FREE Landing Pages
- AdsXposed Review and Walkthrough + Bonus!

Landing Page Guys
February was our quietest month for about a year.
I always said when I started this blog I would share the good and the bad, and this was a bad month for Landing Page Guys. I think because we’ve put a lot of focus on “Project P” I wasn’t able to speak with as many clients as I had wished.
It’s funny though. I sit here on the 1st of March having just closed 4 new clients on some great landing page jobs before 11am. I’m predicting that March will likely be one of our busiest months due to our regular clients being quiet last month so, therefore, likely needing multiple tasks this month.
On a positive note, we’ve been working hard on “Project P” and had our first developers meeting in February. We’re using the same team we use for Lovecars as they’re literally the best at what they do. We all visited Shoreditch House for the day, walked them through our wireframes and deliverables, and explained exactly what we wanted to achieve.
We spent about 6 hours thrashing through designs, questions, and issues that may arise.
We’re now at the advanced stages of agreeing to our contract with the view to start Project P development early next month.
We also managed to meet one of our clients in London and took him out for my first Vietnamese dinner, it was great!
As we enter the 8th month of my blog, I’m super happy to see that this month brought in more traffic than any others in the past. Sadly, I was only able to get 3 posts out this month:
Things are looking great though. I’ve had several requests to expand my blog post on how to build a personal brand, and I may look into going into much more detail with videos, guides, and walkthroughs on how to cover every single point if there’s more interest. If it’s something you’d like to see, please comment below to let me know.
Another first for the blog, I was invited to be a guest on Max Pepe’s Rebelhead Entrepreneurs podcast.
Max contacted me, as I had been recommended by a previous guest, to feature on the show that touches on entrepreneurship and being your own boss. Having met Max once before and really admiring his energy and drive, I jumped at the chance. I met Max at his offices and we spent the next 3 hours going back and forth on topics surrounding getting started as an entrepreneur and the positives and negatives.
It was a real pleasure to talk with Max and I advise you all to follow his page on Instagram as his show is going to BE BIG!
It really made me reflect after the interview on how far I’ve come in such a short time. To think that 3-4 years ago I was a full-time chef and now I’m being interviewed about my early ventures is a proud moment for me.
I’ll let all my subscribers know when it’s out and available to download.
It was also great to recap on our AffiliateFix Charity Sale and donate some money to a great cause. I want to shout out to everyone who helped and donated along with my editor Francine who edited the article for free as her donation.
This past month was a crazy one personally and it’s possibly why I feel so worn out and lethargic. Each weekend involved three days of activities, and most nights were spent drinking which doesn’t do your motivation any good.
However, I did travel to Oxford to visit a very old and good friend of mine, and I hadn’t been to his place in 6 years so it was great to have a night out with him. I also caught up with several other friends whom I hadn’t seen for quite some time, which was important as sometimes I can get stuck behind my computer and forget about those who mean a lot to me.
My good friend Nick also brought us tickets to a concert in Bristol to see Little Simz, the UK hip hop artist. Although I hadn’t really listened to her stuff too much prior, she was incredible live. She also was hugely inspirational as she spoke about her headline tour at just the tender age of 21. She went on to say you can literally do and be whatever you want in life if you put your mind to it. It was a great concert!
My partner Josie and I also celebrated our 5th year as a couple in February. It’s crazy how time flies and we’re off to our favourite hotel with our dog Dennis this weekend to celebrate properly.
We’ve also just had some exciting news regarding buying our new house, and although I don’t want to share too much or jinx it, things are looking positive – fingers crossed.
I’m now into my second month with my personal training alongside Tom, and I’m really starting to look and feel the difference. I’m someone who doesn’t enjoy going to the gym and lifting weights so it’s a great fit as we venture into the woods, sea front, and other cool scenic places to work out and do crazy shit with TRX bands and tees! Ha!
This coming month is all about getting back on track.
February was so busy that it really wore me out, so this month is about taking care of myself and then taking massive action in my work life.
What did you get up to last month?
